Last evening was a great reminder of what makes the Welsford Volunteer Fire Department so special — our people and their families. We were proud to celebrate 5- and 10-year service milestones, recognizing the commitment and dedication of members who continue to serve our community year after year. Several members were also presented with Chief’s Coins in recognition of their exceptional contributions and professionalism.We marked some major achievements in firefighter professional development as well, including the presentation of black helmets to our newly qualified firefighters — a significant milestone that represents countless hours of training, hard work, and determination.We also took time to recognize our incredible Auxiliary, who achieved a record-breaking year in fundraising. Simply put, our department could not operate without their unwavering support and dedication.
