This recall involves the Yamaha EF2000iS portable generator. The recalled generator is blue in colour and has a small suitcase type housing with a top carry handle. The affected product can be identified by the model number, EF20iSX, and a serial number ranging from 7PB-0214343 through 7PB-0215853.
Hazard identified: The fuel tank material where the fuel petcock is installed may be brittle and can cause cracks in the tank, resulting in fuel leakage, posing a fire hazard.
